Exciting things are happening at OSP this year. Our regular season is going strong and our experiment with children's theatre was a success! As we approach our December show, Debbie Macomber's "A Gift to Remember" produced by special permission from Dramatic Publishing Company, we would like to give our patrons and friends a sneak peek at the 2017 season. Show dates: Feb. 24, 25, 26 and March 3, 4, 5

Harvey is a beloved classic comedy about a middle aged sister who comes to live with her older brother who has a slight quirk. He has an imaginary friend named Harvey. This creates quite a problem when this interrupts her plans to fit into high society and make a good match for her unmarried daughter. A mishap occurs when she tries to solve the problem which results in a better understanding of the definition of crazy, and love of family.

Called the funniest farce ever written, this show presents a motley crew of actors as they rehearse and perform a play called “Nothing’s On”. What can go wrong does, doors slamming, on stage and off stage intrigue, and an actor who keeps disappearing, all figure into the plot of this hilarious play.

But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. Then it’s up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. (SF)

Show dates: Dec. 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10

We are bringing back this heart-warming musical that delighted our audiences of all ages. All of the characters from A.A. Milne’s stories are here, singing their way through the plot in which they band together to solve Eeyore’s special problem before Christmas arrives. A fun filled night for young and old with special Christmas music and photo opportunities with the characters on stage. An OSP event not to be missed.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________ EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! Take your favorite young person to the theater!

We will be producing another children’s show this year. There will be 4 showings. 2 Sunday matinees and 2 Monday evenings at 7pm. The show is Charlotte’s Web adapted from the book by E.B. White by Joseph Robinette and will be performed Aug. 13, 14 20, 21 This is an extra event not included in the season pass. ALL tickets are $8.
